Meet the Team

Billy launched his vegetable production career at the tender age of 14 when he started growing vegetables in his family’s back garden and selling them to a local greengrocer. He’s since focused on brassica crops and potatoes, developing a specialist knowledge of these particular vegetables.

Chris grew up on the farm and as soon as he was old enough he was out on the tractors, establishing the skills and knowledge that he now brings to our team. Chris is an experienced tractor and machine operator and is heavily involved in the day-to-day management of the farm.

Hilda oversees the finance and HR for both businesses. But her career started out in the fields like the rest of the farm team – from manually lifting potatoes, as we did in the early days, to bringing crops in from the fields, Hilda has the kind of hands-on knowledge you need to really understand vegetable growing.
